What we work on, in the order it becomes urgent
Newcomers rarely need more grammar theory first. They need to get through specific conversations this month. So we start from what is on your calendar and work backwards into the language it requires.
- Explaining your situation clearly: who you are, why you are here, what you need
- Appointments and administration: asking for clarification, saying you did not understand, confirming what was decided
- Job interviews and the first weeks at work: your experience, questions, asking for help
- Housing, banking and health vocabulary — the first three months
- Phone calls, which are harder than face-to-face and are usually avoided until they cannot be
- School and children: talking to teachers and understanding letters home
Why live teachers, and not only an app
Apps build vocabulary and habit, and they are useful. What they do not do is let you fail safely in a real conversation with someone who reacts, interrupts and asks again. That is the exact skill an appointment or an interview demands.
Our teachers are based in Morocco and speak French and Darija, so when a structure will not click in English, it is explained in a language you already think in and then practised in English until it holds.
Private hours or a small group
One-to-one is faster when you have a date: an interview, an appointment, a start date. The whole hour follows your file.
A small group is better value when your deadline is further away and confidence is the real problem. Groups are capped at six students, so you speak in every session.

- Bring the appointment to the free first class. The teacher will tell you honestly what can be rehearsed in the time available, and what needs longer — including when the honest answer is that a month is not enough for everything.
- Are there classes in the evening or at the weekend?
- Yes. Evening and weekend slots exist because most adult students work. You agree the slots with your teacher and keep them.
