Business English for Moroccan Professionals

In Moroccan companies working with Europe, the Gulf or the US, English is often the difference between joining a project and watching it. Business English is narrow and learnable: a defined set of situations, phrases and habits.

In short

Business English for Moroccan professionals is a narrow, learnable set of situations: meetings, calls, emails, presentations, negotiation and small talk with clients in Europe, the Gulf or the US. You need around B1 to start and B2 to work comfortably in English. Because the vocabulary is limited and repetitive, most professionals become operational far faster than in general English, especially with classes built around their own real emails and meetings.

Key facts

  • Start from about B1; B2 is comfortable working level
  • Situations repeat: meetings, calls, email, presentations
  • Narrow vocabulary means faster visible progress
  • Bring your own emails and meeting topics to class
  • Evening and early-morning slots fit a full-time job
  • Englify trains both individuals and company teams

The five situations that matter

  • Meetings and calls — interrupting politely, asking for clarification, summarising
  • Email — clear subject lines, direct requests, the right level of formality
  • Presentations — signposting, describing data, handling questions
  • Negotiation — conditions, softening, pushing back without conflict
  • Interviews — talking about achievements with numbers and results

Phrases that buy you time and credibility

  • "Could you repeat that, please? The line isn't great."
  • "Just to make sure I understood — you'd like us to …"
  • "Let me get back to you on that by end of day."
  • "I see your point, though there's one risk I'd like to flag."
  • "To summarise, we agreed on three actions."

Email: shorter is more professional

French-influenced formality often makes English emails too long. English business email is direct: state the request in the first two lines, give the context after, and close with a clear next step and deadline.

Fix the three habits that undermine you

  • Translating from French structure — write short English sentences instead
  • Over-apologising before every request
  • Reading a script in presentations instead of speaking from notes

How to train it efficiently

Business English improves fastest with role-play of your own real situations: your weekly meeting, your client call, your actual email thread. Our business course is built on the learner's own material, with corrections after each role-play.

Frequently asked questions

What level do I need before starting business English?
A solid B1. Below that, general English and speaking practice come first, otherwise business vocabulary has nothing to attach to.
Can classes fit around a full-time job?
Yes. We run evening and weekend sessions, and private plans can be scheduled around your working hours.
Do you train teams as well as individuals?
Yes. We run small closed groups for companies, with a level test for every participant and progress reports for the manager.
How much do English lessons cost in Morocco?
At Englify, small-group online English classes are the most affordable option and private one-to-one classes cost more per hour, because a private teacher works with one student only. Current group and private prices are confirmed on WhatsApp (+212 724 744 137) and on our prices page, since they depend on the format, the number of hours per week and the length of the plan. The trial class is free and no card is required.
Are Englify classes online or in person?
Every class is 100% online and live on Google Meet, at Morocco time. Nothing is pre-recorded: a teacher is in the room with you, correcting you as you speak. Students join from Casablanca, Rabat, Marrakech, Tangier, Fez, Agadir and smaller cities, and from abroad.
