In short

Englify's English conversation practice is a live online session on Google Meet where you speak for most of the class, guided by a teacher who corrects pronunciation, phrasing and hesitation as you go. Groups are kept very small so everyone talks, and one-to-one sessions are available if you want maximum speaking time. Levels run from A2 upwards, and every learner starts with a free level check and a free trial session.

Key facts

  • You speak in every session — discussion-led, not lecture-led
  • Very small groups, or one-to-one for maximum speaking time
  • Correction of pronunciation, phrasing and fluency, with notes after class
  • Suitable from A2 upwards; teachers speak English, French and Darija
  • Free level check and free trial session before enrolling

How a conversation session works

Each session has a topic and a language goal. The teacher gives you the vocabulary and structures you need, then you use them in pairs or as a group while the teacher notes errors to fix at the end.

  • A clear topic and speaking objective for every session
  • Vocabulary and useful phrases given before you speak
  • Most of the session is you talking, not the teacher
  • Correction of pronunciation and grammar after the speaking task
  • Homework that is spoken, not just written

Who this is for

  • Learners who studied English for years but hesitate to speak
  • Professionals who need to talk in meetings and on calls
  • Students preparing an IELTS or TOEFL speaking section
  • Anyone who wants regular practice with correction, not just chatting

Group or one-to-one

Group conversation gives you variety of accents, ideas and interaction, which is closer to real life. One-to-one gives you maximum speaking time and correction tailored to your specific weaknesses. Many students combine both: a weekly group plus private sessions before an exam or interview.

What changes, realistically

Fluency improves with consistent speaking, not with a single intensive week. Students who attend regularly and do the spoken homework usually notice that they hesitate less and repair mistakes themselves — that is the real marker of progress, and it is what we track in session reports.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a minimum level to join conversation practice?
You need enough English to form basic sentences, roughly A2. Complete beginners start with our beginner course first, then move into conversation-focused work.
Will the teacher correct me while I speak?
The teacher notes errors during the task and corrects them afterwards, so your speaking is not interrupted constantly. Pronunciation errors that block understanding are fixed immediately.
How often should I attend to see progress?
Two sessions a week is the pattern most students follow. Consistency matters more than intensity, which is why we keep a fixed weekly slot.
Is this the same as your speaking classes?
Conversation practice is the speaking-focused format inside our speaking course family: same teachers and method, with sessions built entirely around discussion tasks.
How much do English lessons cost in Morocco?
At Englify, small-group online English classes are the most affordable option and private one-to-one classes cost more per hour, because a private teacher works with one student only. Current group and private prices are confirmed on WhatsApp (+212 724 744 137) and on our prices page, since they depend on the format, the number of hours per week and the length of the plan. The trial class is free and no card is required.
