What the test involves
The test is not a quiz you take alone and forget. It has two parts, because writing and speaking levels are often very different — most learners in Morocco read and write better than they speak.

What the CEFR levels mean
- A1 — basic words and phrases, very simple exchanges
- A2 — everyday situations, short simple conversations
- B1 — you can handle most daily and work situations with effort
- B2 — the level most employers and universities ask for
- C1 — fluent, precise, comfortable in professional and academic settings
Why the spoken part matters
Grammar tests measure what you recognise. Speaking measures what you can produce under pressure, which is what employers, interviewers and exam examiners actually judge. Placing you on written score alone is how learners end up in a group that is too easy or too hard.
After the test
You get your level, the group options at that level with their timetables, and the exact price for the plan you choose. If your level sits between two groups, we say so and suggest the option that will keep you progressing rather than the one that fills a seat.

- Is the level test really free?
- Yes. The placement test and the spoken assessment during the free trial class cost nothing and do not commit you to enrolling.
- How long does it take?
- The written part takes around 20 to 30 minutes, and the spoken assessment happens inside your free trial session.
- Do I get a certificate from the test?
- The placement result is not a certificate. Certificates stating your CEFR level are issued after you complete a level with us, following an end-of-level assessment.
- Can my child take the test?
- Yes. Children and teenagers are assessed with age-appropriate material and placed in their own groups.
- Is this an IELTS or TOEFL score?
- No. It is a CEFR placement so we can put you in the right class. For IELTS or TOEFL we run dedicated preparation courses with practice tests.
