In short

A free Englify trial class is a live one-to-one lesson on Google Meet. After the session, the teacher writes an evaluation report: the learner's level placed on the CEFR scale from A1 to C1, what they already do well, what to develop next, quotes from the session and recommended next steps. The sample below is a real report for a 9-year-old learner assessed at A2 Elementary.

Key facts

  • Live one-to-one trial class on Google Meet
  • Written report after the session
  • Level placed on the CEFR scale (A1 to C1)
  • Recommended next steps for the learner

Summary

Ishaq is a bright, enthusiastic and highly engaged young learner who followed the entire session with genuine excitement, smiling, using his hands to express himself and staying focused from start to finish. He understood everything said to him in English, introduced himself, his family and his hobbies clearly, read two short passages aloud accurately and answered comprehension questions correctly. Whenever he met a new word in the vocabulary game he asked what it meant and then used it correctly right after.

Strengths

  • Understands everything said to him in English and responds appropriately throughout a long session
  • Introduces himself, his family and his hobbies clearly and confidently, entirely in English
  • Reads short passages accurately and answers comprehension questions correctly
  • Uses "I like" and "I love" correctly across many topics, often giving real reasons
  • Actively asks about new words instead of skipping them
  • Energetic, joyful and fully engaged throughout

Areas to develop

  • Small grammar patterns such as "I like football" instead of "I like the football", which he picks up quickly once shown
  • Building longer, connected sentences as vocabulary grows
  • Continued reading practice with slightly longer passages

Evidence from the session

Quotes recorded by the teacher during the session.

“My name is Ishaq. I am nine years old. I'm from Morocco.”
“I don't like hamsters... They bite.”
“Hello, my name is Ishaq. I am nine years old. I'm from Morocco... My favorite hobbies is swimming. I like the birds and I love, I love, I love the rabbits.”
“It is the language that is spoken in the whole world.”

Recommended next steps

  • Continue in the A2 Elementary track with games, roleplay and short reading passages
  • Build "I like / I love" sentences by adding simple reasons ("I like swimming because...")
  • Introduce slightly longer reading passages
  • Keep encouraging his habit of asking about new words

A note from your tutor

“Ishaq brought so much energy and joy to this session. He smiled, he laughed, he celebrated his wins in the games and he stayed engaged from start to finish. With his curiosity, his focus and how quickly he picks up new words, he has everything he needs to keep growing quickly in English. It was a pleasure getting to know him, and we can't wait to see him again!”

What a free trial session includes

The trial is a real lesson, not a sales call. The teacher works with the learner live and takes notes throughout, then turns those notes into the report you can read further down this page.

  • A live one-to-one session on Google Meet with an Englify teacher
  • A written evaluation report sent after the session
  • The learner's level placed on the CEFR scale, from A1 to C1
  • Recommended next steps, so you know exactly what comes after the trial

How to read the report

The report starts with the assessed CEFR level and where it sits on the A1 to C1 scale. Strengths list what the learner already does well, and areas to develop list the small, specific things the teacher will work on next.

The quotes are recorded by the teacher during the session, so you can hear how your child actually used English rather than relying on a score alone.

Frequently asked questions

Is the trial class really free?
Yes. The trial session and the written evaluation report that follows it are free.
Do I get a report like this after my own trial?
Yes. Every trial session is followed by a written evaluation report with the assessed CEFR level, strengths, areas to develop and recommended next steps.
Where does the class take place?
All Englify classes are 100% online, live on Google Meet, taught by Morocco-based Englify teachers. There is no branch to visit.
Why does the report only show a first name and an age?
These are children. We publish the first name and age only, and never a city, a school, a session date or a photo.
What is the CEFR scale?
The CEFR is the standard European scale for language levels, from A1 (beginner) to C1 (advanced). Placing a learner on it makes progress easy to follow from one term to the next.
