English for Engineers and Technical Professionals in Morocco

Engineers rarely lack vocabulary — they lack the sentences that carry it. This training works on explaining technical work to people who are not engineers, and on holding your place in an international project meeting.

In short

Englify trains engineering English online in Morocco through live classes on Google Meet, one-to-one at 100 MAD per hour or in small groups, with company teams on request. The focus is the language engineers actually use in English: explaining a technical problem to a non-technical client or manager, project and progress meetings, supplier and subcontractor calls, specifications and standards, incident and site reports, and presenting results. It suits automotive, aeronautics, renewable energy, construction, industry, telecoms and IT engineers in Morocco working with foreign clients or head offices. Every learner starts with a free trial class and level assessment.

The Language Tasks of an Engineering Role

  • Explaining a technical problem, and its cost, to a client or manager who is not an engineer
  • Project meetings with a foreign head office: progress, blockers, risks, deadlines
  • Calls with suppliers and subcontractors: specifications, tolerances, delivery, non-conformity
  • Writing and reading specifications, procedures and standards without misreading them
  • Incident, site and test reports: factual, short, unambiguous
  • Presenting results and recommendations to a decision-maker in ten minutes
  • Handling a design or method disagreement in English without it becoming personal
  • Numbers, units, tolerances and dates said clearly on a bad phone line

How the Training Works

  • 1. Free trial class with a CEFR level assessment and a first technical explanation.
  • 2. You bring your own project vocabulary, documents or drawings where you may share them.
  • 3. Practice explaining the same problem twice: once to an engineer, once to a client.
  • 4. Meeting simulations where you have to interrupt, disagree and commit to a date.
  • 5. Written work: a short report or email per session, corrected line by line.
  • 6. A written report after each session with the phrases and structures to reuse.

Typical Starting Level

Engineers in Morocco commonly start between B1 and B2 and are stronger reading than speaking: technical documentation in English is familiar, live discussion is not. The frequent effect is a specialist who sounds less competent in English than they are, which matters when a head office is deciding who leads a project.

The fix is not more vocabulary. It is producing complete sentences at speed, and having a ready structure for the three or four situations that repeat every week.

Frequently asked questions

Do the teachers know my technical field?
They are language teachers, not engineers, and that is deliberate: they are exactly the non-specialist audience you have to be able to explain your work to. Your field vocabulary comes from your own documents, and the teacher works on making the explanation clear.
Can we work on my own reports and specifications?
Yes, where you are allowed to share them. Correcting your real reports is far more useful than generic exercises — and if the documents are confidential, we rebuild equivalent situations without them.
Can a company team train together?
Yes. Group programmes for engineering and project teams are arranged with the employer, on the same live online format.
How much does it cost?
Private one-to-one classes cost 100 MAD per hour. Monthly plans are 500 MAD for 4 hours, 900 MAD for 8 hours, 1,200 MAD for 12 hours, 1,700 MAD for 16 hours and 2,000 MAD for 20 hours. There is no registration fee and the first trial class is free.
Can I follow the classes from any city?
Yes. Everything is 100% online on Google Meet, so professionals anywhere in Morocco — and Moroccans working abroad — take the same sessions, including early morning or evening slots.
